Purchasing A Car
Legal Information And Disclaimer
To either purchase or bid on one of our vehicles, you must be 18 and pay with a money order, cashiers check or Bank wire transfer. Please do not bid without the intent to finalize any transaction. Winning bidders that do not finalize their transactions will not only receive negative feedback may be prevented from participating in any future opportunities to purchase a vehicle from us.
There will be a $200.00 administration fee added to each car sold.
All sales are final with the car being sold ‘as-is, where is’ with no exceptions. Please ask if you have any questions in advance of sale. The seller reserves the right to end any auction(s) early. Sorry, no retractions will be allowed during the last 24 hours of any auction, so please ask questions before bidding. The seller also reserves the right at all times and for any reason–or no reason–to categorically refuse any of its services or the sale of any product to any individual or entity/entities.
Terms of Auction & Sale
The vehicle is offered with a right to a personal inspection by any bidder or agent of any bidder. The Vehicle is being sold by a Licensed State of Florida Dealer (Mission Classics). Any Florida resident must pay local FL sales tax and licensing fees. All others will do so in their home state.
This site and all advertising information may be updated without notice whenever new information is obtained, and it may contain mistakes and inaccuracies. Information is provided to the best of our knowledge and that of the owners of the vehicles. We make no warranty or representation regarding the accuracy, truth, or reliability of such information. We cannot be responsible for any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies contained in information provided by third parties. Mission Classics is not an expert in the construction, engineering, finishes, materials, and componentry of every single vehicle we sell. It is the responsibility of the buyer to either inspect the vehicle personally or via a 3rd party to ensure satisfaction with regard to condition and value prior to purchase. Mission Classics strives to perform extensive visual inspections on all vehicles we represent but we do not disassemble vehicles or components for inspection purposes and therefore it is always possible that there is hidden damage that is not readily apparent. All vehicles are sold AS-IS with no warranties expressed or implied. All used vehicles should be assumed to have some degree of wear. Each vehicle has its strengths, shortcomings, styles and tendencies. Please be advised that no oral or written statements concerning any vehicle constitutes a representation or warranty of the condition of the said vehicle, and–as with all pre-owned automobiles–the condition is subjective. If a product offered by us is not as described, your sole remedy is to return it in unused condition.
The vehicle is available for inspection prior to bidding. If you are the high bidder and unable to inspect said vehicle before auction close, you or an agent will have seven(7) days to inspect said vehicle after the close of auction. We strongly encourage a physical inspection to avoid any misunderstandings or representations. Bidders with less than 10 feedbacks MUST email us before bidding showing their intent to purchase the vehicle. Due to increasing non-paying bidders, we reserve the right to cancel your bid if you do not have a sufficient number of feedback responses. Interference with the bidding in any form will not be tolerated and will result in the automatic termination of any agreement.
All disputes arising out of or resulting from this sale shall be finally determined by binding arbitration in Brooksville, FL in accordance with the commercial rules of arbitration of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration shall be carried out by one or more arbitrators in accordance with said rules. Any award shall be enforceable in any court of competent jurisdiction in the same manner as judgments. This agreement to arbitrate shall survive the sale of the automobile described herein. Buyer and Seller hereby agree that Florida law shall control for all purposes under this Bill of Sale. Buyer and Seller hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction of the state and federal courts of Florida to specifically enforce the agreement to arbitrate and to enter judgment of and enforce the award of the arbitrator.
Terms of Payment
Payment must be made by Cashiers Check, Money Orders or Bank Wire Transfers payable in US Dollars.
A Refundable deposit in the amount of $500.00 must be received within Twenty-Four (24) hours of the auctions close either by Master Card, Visa or PayPal. The buyer has seven(7) days from close of auction to inspect the vehicle. If the vehicle is not to your liking within this seven day inspection period then your deposit will be refunded 100%. If an inspection or decision takes longer then seven days and you find the vehicle not to your liking, your deposit will be forfeited and the car will be re-listed.
Final payment must be received within ten (10) days of the auction close. The refundable deposit only applies if you or an agent inspect said vehicle in Florida and find it not to your liking. Mission Classics will not be responsible for buyers remorse or problems found to said vehicle once it has left our property. Most of the cars we deal with are vintage and will need a bit of TLC and some degree of attention eventually. These are not new vehicles and should not be treated as such.
Once full payment has been received, Seller will deliver a copy of clear title, Bill of Sale, Buyers Guide and additional DMV forms to the Buyer to sign and return. The forms must be returned (electronically, by post or special courier) to the Seller prior to the shipment of said vehicle. Original paperwork will be sent to Buyer Via overnight mail within seven (7) days from date of final payment. Transportation will commence only after final payment and signed documentation are received.
If for any reason you receive your vehicle and have buyer’s remorse, are not happy with the vehicle or just don’t want it for any reason we will purchase the car back from you. We must be notified in writing of your decision to return the vehicle within seven (7) days of your receipt of said vehicle. The vehicle may not have more than 75 additional miles on the odometer from the time it left our possession and be returned in the same condition that it left. You will be responsible for a restocking fee equal to 20% of the purchase price of the vehicle with no exceptions. You will also be responsible for shipping the vehicle back to our shop at your expense.
All above terms and conditions are applied to all vehicle sales, whether in person, online or otherwise. When you visit this site or send emails to us, you are communicating with us electronically. You consent to receive communications from us electronically. We will communicate with you by email or by posting notices on this site. You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.
If you are under 18, you may use this site only with involvement of a parent or guardian. We, our dealers and our affiliates reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders at our sole discretion.
All items purchased from this site are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier.
Shipping
We are not a shipping company, we set up shipping as a courtesy for our customers. We post the vehicle and wait for a transport company to contact us and we dispatch the vehicle to said company. We verify that these shipping companies are DOT Certified and Insured. We will make every effort to get your vehicle delivered in a timely manner, however, we have no control over times/dates of delivery. Upon pick up of vehicle, we will email you the transport company contact information and you will be able to contact them directly to discuss delivery details. If you are arranging your own shipping, we require 24-hour notice for pickup.
This site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. There are no warranties of any kind, express or implied, as to the operation of this site or the information, content, materials, or products included on this site. You expressly agree that your use of this site is at your sole risk. To the full extent permissible by applicable law, we and our dealers disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that this site, its servers, or email sent from us, our dealers or affiliates free of viruses or other harmful components. We, our dealers and affiliates will not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of this site, including, but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, and consequential damages.
